It has been exactly one week since we moved out of our church building completely (January 2nd).  We will be sending a weekly photo update so that our parishioners can track the progress of our Cathedral restoration.

The pews have been removed.

They are being shipped to Iowa for repair and refurbishing/refinishing by Gunder Church Furniture.

The kneelers have been stored in the diocesan storage building. Crosses will be made using this piece of our history, and will be made available as souvenir for our Sesquicentennial celebration this year.

Plaster work continues on the south transept...

and on the north transept.

The last of the crawl space masonry openings are now being closed.

The piping and electrical conduits for the HVAC are now buried.

Here's a way to access the underground HVAC piping and electricals.

The outside HVAC units are in place, and now working on the mechanical yard enclosure.

After extensive repairs of the damaged parts of the roof, the old clay tiles are now being re-installed on the north side.

Meanwhile, Emil Frei is now onsite to begin detailed work on the stained glass windows.
