On March 15th 2020, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception held a Penitential Procession in Time of Calamity.
Bishop Glen John Provost and the Clergy of the Cathedral were joined by several lay faithful from the Parish and the Diocese in the Eucharistic Procession of Reparation to beg God’s mercy and protection against the present coronavirus outbreak. They asked the intercession of the Immaculate Conception (Patroness of the Parish and the Diocese), Saint Michael Archangel (daily invoked after every Mass in our Parishes), Saint Joseph (Patron of the Universal Church), and All the Saints, for the spiritual and bodily welfare of those affected by the virus and those who come to their care, and for an increase in the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity in order to aid us in this time of trial.
